The Enchanted Forest is an interactive experience with shopping, food and stage shows. It is set in the woods with a cast who bring to life a plethora of (German) fairy tales. 

Your admission covers entry into the festival. Food and drink is purchased separately.

The Mid-Michigan Enchanted Forest is pet-friendly and you may bring your furry friends in with you (separate ticket required).  Be aware that all pets must follow these guidelines:

• All animals must be well-behaved and kept on a 6-foot or shorter leash at all times.
• Waste bags are not available. You must provide your own and you must clean up after your pet.
• All animals must be current on their vaccinations, especially rabies (if applicable). You must provide proof of vaccination (digital photos of vaccine record are acceptable).
• Water is available for purchase on site, but you may bring your own for your pet. Public water dishes are not available, so you should bring your own container.
• Event owners reserve the right to eject any aggressive or obviously ill animal.
• Pet owners assume full responsibility for their pets. The Mid-Michigan Enchanted Forest, the Grainger Family LLC, event organizers, volunteers, employees, cast, and crew cannot be held liable for any incidents or injury. By entering the festival, attendees accept full responsibility for any risks to themselves and their pets.

We do not offer Refunds or Rain Checks; we will stay open rain or shine.  We will close only in the event of a life-threatening weather emergency. 

We have two ATM's located inside the festival gates.  One is on the lane between the Fairy Garden and Oak Leaf Stage, and the other is in the Food Court.

Even with these new conveniences, the majority of our vendors accept all major credit cards and in our ticket booth we utilize Square to take credit and debit card payments.

Unfortunately, due to some carelessness as well as the health and well-being of others with medical conditions, we can not allow smoking throughout the lanes or within Vendor booths. You may smoke only within the designated area next to our tavern.  Those violating this policy can be removed from the event.  This includes all pipes, cigars, and cigarettes.

We do allow re-entry into the event for same day tickets. Your hand will be stamped for re-entry when you exit the event. Season ticket holders may show their season passes for re-entry.

At this time, the Enchanted Forest doesn't have the space or budget to accommodate a Jousting event. However, we do have the next best thing - an armored fighting arena! All the glory and volume of full contact combat without those pesky horses.

We have different food vendors that come in to sell a variety of things from smoked meats and turkey legs to Polish sausage sandwiches. Please see individual vendors for menus and prices. 

No outside alcohol is allowed through the gates.  If you wish to imbibe, you must purchase your spirits at St. Vincent's Tavern. Festival staff will inspect the contents of all flasks.

While we would prefer you patronize the vendors in our Food Court, we understand that there a number of food allergies out there.  Our food vendors try their best but are not able to accommodate everyone.  If you have special dietary restrictions, feel free to bring what you need to make it through the day.  A doctor's note is appreciated but not required.

Absolutely not. Those wearing Jeans and a t-shirt are very welcome. (Although no t-shirts with offensive language are allowed.) Shoes are required to be worn by everyone. If you do wear a costume it must be appropriate to a family-friendly atmosphere.

Of course. We do not have any legal process or requirements for cameras entering the festival. We only ask as a courtesy you share with us the pictures. We do reserve the right to use those pictures on our social media, with credit provided to the photographer. Those looking for exclusive rights to their work can obtain permission from the marketing team. 

All weapons you bring in must be costume pieces/props.  All weapons will be inspected upon entry. Blades must be secured at the hilt with a zip tie ("peace tied"). Bows cannot be accompanied by arrows. All historic pistols must be inoperable and unloaded. No black powder or shot is allowed. No modern firearms or ammunition are permitted beyond the festival gates.

The festival has several layers of security for the safety and protection of its employees, performers, volunteers, and patrons. There are several security cameras on site, as well as visible and undercover security team members. The festival usually has a trained EMT available on site during festival hours.
